Transfers from East Cliff
East Cliff is the hotel and mansion-block strip above the beach, along East Overcliff Drive, Grove Road and Bath Road. Almost every pickup here is a hotel or a holiday apartment, so the meeting point is reception or the named entrance, not a pin in the middle of the one-way. Bath Road and the East Cliff one-way are slow from late morning; a 4am Heathrow job is empty. We allow extra time for luggage down from an upper floor and for the driver to stop where the hotel actually permits it — several properties will not let a private-hire car sit on the forecourt. This is not the BIC (that is West Cliff) and it is not Boscombe pier.
