Why we started

Our team has driven Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch for years, and we kept hearing the same complaints about local travel: drivers turning up late, prices that changed on the day, and nobody answering the phone when a flight was delayed. We knew local passengers deserved better.

So we built Sandbanks Chauffeurs as a team around a few simple promises. You agree a fixed price before you book. You know your driver's name before the day. We track your flight, and we turn up early, every time.

How we actually run

This is not a national aggregator with a Poole postcode glued on. Bookings come in on the booking system. Fares are published before you confirm. Drivers are council-licensed private hire (BCP or East Dorset), not a taxi rank. We don't invent review scores: the reviews below come straight from Google.

The name is the geography. A 4am pickup on Panorama Road is a different job from a Christchurch one — ferry, Shore Road, no second way off the spit. That's the standard we sell.
