Mudeford is a coastal village on the eastern arm of Christchurch Harbour, famous for the beach huts on the sandspit and the working quay where the day boats land. It's among the most easterly points we serve, which puts it closest to the M27/M3 for Heathrow and Gatwick — a noticeably shorter run than from Poole. The village splits into Mudeford Quay (the harbourside, with the fishing boats and the ferry across to the sandspit) and the residential streets up toward Friars Cliff. The sandspit itself is accessed only by ferry or a long walk, so sandspit beach-hut and holiday-park pickups meet us at the quay. Mudeford's position at the harbour mouth gives it a coastal character that draws weekend visitors year-round, and summer airport runs from here are common for second-home owners flying in and out of Bournemouth Airport.
