Heathrow Meet & Greet: What Happens When You Land
Landing at Heathrow and heading home to Poole, Bournemouth or Christchurch? Exactly how our meet and greet works, from touchdown to your front door.
The flight home is often the hardest part of a trip. You are tired, the queue at passport control is long, and the last thing you want is to hunt for a coach stop or a car park ticket machine. This is how a pre-booked pickup from Heathrow to Dorset works with us, step by step.
Before you fly
When you book, give us your flight number and the date you land. That is the most important detail, because it lets us follow the flight rather than a fixed time. Add a mobile number that will work in the UK when you land, and tell us about anything extra: a child seat, golf clubs, a wheelchair or more luggage than usual.
You get a booking confirmation with your pickup details, so you know exactly what is arranged before you fly.
While you are in the air
We track your flight. If it lands early, your driver is there early. If it is delayed, we adjust to the real landing time. You do not need to message us from the plane.
When you land
- Switch your phone on once you are on the ground. Your driver will send a message to say they are at the terminal.
- Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name board, at the meeting point after you come through customs. Heathrow has four terminals (2, 3, 4 and 5), and we go to the one your flight arrives at.
- Take your time with passport control and bags. Up to 60 minutes of waiting after landing is included in your fixed price, which covers most queues and baggage belts. If you are held up for longer, just message the driver.
The walk to the car
Your driver helps with the cases and walks you to the car, parked a short walk away in the terminal car park. Then it is the M25, M3 and M27 home, usually about 1 hour 40 minutes to BCP, depending on traffic.
What the price includes
Your fixed price is agreed when you book and covers the car, the driver, fuel, flight tracking, the meet and greet and the first 60 minutes of waiting. If you are held up beyond that, waiting is charged at £20 an hour, worked out every 30 minutes, plus any extra car park time. Our booking terms have the detail. Child seats are free.
Arriving with family or a group
A family of four with a pushchair fits comfortably in our small MPV. Groups of up to seven travel together in a Mercedes V-Class, so nobody is split between cars after a long flight. See our fleet for luggage space.
Book your pickup
Heathrow to Poole, Bournemouth or Christchurch starts from £150 in an estate car. See every fare on our Heathrow page or book online with your flight number.
